Rocky Mountain Sunbather

The marmot.  Perched on a rocky outcrop, its thick fur a mix of golden brown and gray, blending perfectly with the rugged alpine terrain. Its small, rounded ears are perked up, and its dark, inquisitive eyes gaze intently into the distance. The marmot's whiskers catch the light as it sniffs the crisp mountain air, and its tiny, clawed paws grip the rough stone beneath it.
